After packing up the networking equipment this weekend and switching to the ATT gateway, I investigated a frustrating issue with ATT’s ActiveArmor filtering feature. In short, it was blocking my site for any ATT customer who used this feature, which I suspect is enabled by default for new installs. My site was falsely flagged as malware, and every time I would try to visit my site I’d get a helpful “blocked URL” notification from the Smart Home Manager app on my phone.
